	Freezing up sounds like you may have propane leaking.&amp;nbsp; Please&amp;nbsp; leak check the connection and hose with soapy water. You should also turn your tank off and disconnect it from the grill for about 10-15 minutes. After reattaching the tank, turn the valve only one complete rotation, do not turn until it stops.&amp;nbsp; This causes frost and may also cause the valve to break off.&lt;/p&gt;

	Please try turning the valve in both directions, occasionally the valve will be stuck in the open position. Because the gas can&amp;#39;t escape unless engaged with the pin in the regulator, you should still be able to use your tank. If the valve is still stuck, a small bit of oil such as WD40 or cooking spray, applied to the stem should help loosen it up. Do not use any tools since too much torque may result in the valve breaking off. Please let me know what happens.&lt;/p&gt;

	2. NEVER keep your tank in your car trunk, if you do need to transport your tank, put it in the backseat with your windows open.&lt;/p&gt;

	3. ALWAYS keep your tank away from a direct heat source, and NEVER keep your spare tank under or near your grill.&lt;/p&gt;

	The best place to keep a spare tank is on your deck or the side of the house. If any gas happens to leak, it will dissipate. If your tank is exposed to the elements, it may rust a little and the tank may start to look &amp;quot;aged&amp;quot;, but the gas won&amp;#39;t go bad.&lt;/p&gt;

	Federal regulations require that all propane tanks are fitted with an OPD (Overfill Protection Device). The OPD feature prevents accidental overfill of the cylinder. An internal float mechanism shuts off the valve when the propane tank is 80% filled. The 20% empty space is necessary to prevent the cylinder from venting large amounts of propane when the temperature rises. The OPD valve also contains another safety feature - it will not release gas unless the pigtail hose is properly connected, even with the valve open. These devices are metal, and some tanks have a more pronounced &amp;quot;clang&amp;quot; when the tank is moved around (depending on the manufacturer of the tank). Nothing is broken and the sound you hear does not have an impact on the function of your tank.&lt;/p&gt;

	We are no longer&amp;nbsp;able to offer&amp;nbsp;propane tanks with the&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Type 2 (quick connect) valve&lt;/strong&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Grills and tanks with the quick connect valve have not been manufactured in over 10 years and it is&amp;nbsp;becoming increasingly difficult to maintain an inventory required to service customers with this connection.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	What you can do is upgrade your grill with a new hose and regulator and upgrade your tank with the new type of connection (it is a two part process). You can purchase a new hose and regulator by contacting Weber at 800-446-1071 and explain that you have a grill that has a Type II tank and you need a new hose and regulator for a Type I tank.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	If you decide to upgrade your grill, you will also need to upgrade your tank. When placing an order on our web site you will be asked if your tank requires an upgrade. You will select yes, that way we will pick up your old Type II tank and deliver a Type I tank for you.&lt;/p&gt;

		Place chicken, breast side up over indirect heat. Cover and grill until thermometer instered in the thickest part of the thigh reads 160 degrees F, about 1 1/2 hours.&lt;/li&gt;

				<title>My Tank Is Full, But No Gas Flows To The Grill</title>

	Do you know you have a full tank, but aren&amp;#39;t getting any gas to flow to the grill?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	There are a couple of explanations for either low flame, causing your grill to not get very hot, or no flame at all.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	What&amp;#39;s probably happened is the regulator may have been tripped by a rush of gas through the gas lines of the grill. This is usually caused when the tank is hooked up and the grill dials are on high before the valve on the tank is opened.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	The OPD valve found on your tanks has a safety geature that restricts the flow of gas when the tank has been opened all the way, or if the burners were turned on before the tank was turend on. It does its job thinking there&amp;#39;s too much pressure and slows down or completely stops the flow.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	One trick to keep in mind here is that you should always turn the gas valve (at the tank) on before turning the grill dials on.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
	To reset the regulator:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Close the tank valve&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Disconnect the tank from the grill&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Turn all gas knobs on the grill to high for 1 minute- then turn back to the off position&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Reconnect the tank&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Open the valve on the tank&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Turn your starter knob on the grill to &amp;quot;high&amp;quot;&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Ignite the grill&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;
		Return to grilling!&lt;/li&gt;
